Is online learning effective for primary school students? This year our junior and senior English Debating Team had to debate about this topic in an English debating competition organized by the Hong Kong Professional Teachers’ Union. Our senior team (Lai Hong Rui Henry, Lam Yi Chloe, and Lee Yuen Chi Gigi) rose to the occasion and won second place (1^st runner-up) in this competition. The adjudicators of this competition also commented that our students were able to deliver their speech with strong confidence, clear pronunciation, excellent eye contact as well as constructing arguments that were well presented and logically laid out.
